Rare, Important Clement Massier w Lucien Levy Dhurmer Vase - $595 - (Chaska, MN)

Rare, Important Clement Massier w Lucien Levy Dhurmer Vase. The 45 degree Clement Massier stamp is accompanied by the stamp of renowned artist and creative director Lucien Levy-Dhurmer, placing production of this vase prior to Dhurmer's departure from the Massier studio in 1895. The condition and glaze color are exceptional for it's age. There is a small glaze chip on the base and a nearly indistinguishable hairline about an inch long at the rim. See photos. Ceramics carrying the dual stamp are becoming very hard to find. The vase is 7" tall and about 4" wide near the base. The glaze can be described as an iridescent ochre, gold, orange and green with a brown base.
