Original promo book for jazz flutist HERBIE MANN, 1965 - photos, reviews, etc - $15 - (Belmont, MA)

Jazz flutist and bandleader Herbie Mann was a longtime artist on the Atlantic label, and in 1965 the company produced this outstanding booklet for Mann's press kit. The 14-page booklet is loaded with photos, almost 40 in total, and includes a bio and reprints of magazine articles and record reviews. The back cover shows thumbnails of 12 of Mann's Atlantic records. The booklet was designed by Haig Adishian. The 14 page booklet measures 8.5 x 11 inches and is printed on plain paper, stapled with heavy wraps. Booklet is in fine condition, with some soiling on the white covers, bending/rounding to the upper right corner. The upper left corner on the back cover is dog-eared.
