1870 Type 2 Newfoundland High Grade (au. to Unc.) Ten Cents. A very rare coin indeed. I've had numerous collectors look at this coin and I have received grade estimates from a low of ef45 to a high of MS-60. I think it lies somewhere between au55 and au58, which would place it at a trends value of $3200.00 to $3800.00. The surfaces are a little 'rough' but all in all, a very rare coin.
