Family First: Storied Prints Workshop - N.A. - (Winston-Salem, NC)
$10 members/$15 non-members per person; art materials are provided. Registration required as class enrollment is limited; register here or call 336.758.XXXX. These two-hour workshops begin at two p.m. the 1st Sunday of each month for children in 1st through sixth grades, accompanied by an adult. Elementary school-aged children and their favorite adults visit the Museum and make art together in these popular monthly workshops. Every 3 children must be accompanied by at least 1 adult. Please buy 1 ticket per participant (one for each child and adult attending the workshop). June 2 — Storied Prints Workshop In this workshop, you’ll look closely at Martin Puryear’s prints of Cane, and then create your own relief print. By drawing in balsa wood to make your printing surface, you will create an image that can be printed several times.
