Windmill Grease Cup, New, Cast Iron Body - $48 - (Westfield, IN)

Many early wood wheel direct stroke & steel wheel open gear mills used extra large oil & grease cups to lubricate their spinning shafts. Originals are increasingly difficult to find. We have created a reproduction that includes a grease zerk like the one used on the Althouse Wheeler Steel Giant. It stands slightly over 3" tall and has a top edge diameter of slightly over 2". Threads are 1/4" NPT to fit a hole approx. 1/2" OD. Body is solid cast iron with a center hole allowing for direct grease application with a zerk fitting applicator. This is not a compression cup as the top is a molded part of the reproduction body. Only the cup w/ zerk is included. Message us with your questions about this item.
