French Alencon Lace Tablecloth Victorian Plumes 71"x106" / 9 Napkins - $199 - (Runnells, IA)
Description Antique French Alencon Lace Tablecloth Rare Design I think this tablecloth has a Victorian flair to it. The large lavish plumes fill the center with a smaller version surrounding the borders. The color is more of an ivory than ecru and unfortunately the color may appear different on different computers. This measures approximately 71” x 106” and the napkins measure 16 ¾” square. There are 9 of these with one that has a small mend on the lace. As lovely as the design is there are a few issues with the netting. None of these issues distract from the design and to see it on the table they are hard to find. There are several small holes (9) and a couple of mended ones (5). A larger mend looks a little sloppy (8) but the cloth lays flat, another one has a darker thread (6) used in mending. I have put pictures up to show each of these. I am sure a gentle wash will clear up any stains that may be there. Please look at these pictures as this is the item you would purchase.
