Antique Calligraphy Painting. I believe it's Chinese but could be Japanese.Any help with the artist, time frame, and translation would be wonderful.Estate item presented as "over 100 years old" & "handed down thru the family for generations".The ornate gesso on wood frame has a thin sliver chip to the upper left corner and multiple nips in the paint and gesso. It is sturdy and could be repaired easily. The painting measures 13 1/2" by 16 1/2".Frame measures 16 1/2" by 19 1/2". Please see the images for complete description.
