. Antique Amish "Sunshine and Shadows" quilt handmade in 1940's. Drusilla Riehl Stoltzfus from Quarryville, Lancaster County Pa was the maker,. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Made of wool, rayon crepe and cotton with a brown linen/cotton woven backing. Wonderful graphics and colors. Double borders and double sets of corner blocks. . Meticulous hand quilting with flowers and chevron quilting at 9 stitches to the inch. in black thread. Very thin batting. . Measuring 82"x 82" this will fit a queen or double bed. Would be fantastic on a wall. . In excellent clean condition with a couple small faint spots and no fading.
