It is in very good condition save for folds at the edge and a small tear.Surveyor mentions that he is establishing grades on 17th Street from Stanyon to Ashbury and that Sutrowould be more interested than anyone else. He wants Sutro to pass on changes before he submits them to Board of Supervisors. I have dozens of letters written to Adolph Sutro or his manager dealing with all sorts ofbusiness, from the Sutro Baths, to elevators in buildings, to land deals, as well ascharitable contributions. Most of them date from before 1900. Over the next month I'll be listing them on ebay.
