Up for sale is this very beautiful and rare boudoir type doll by” Dean’s Rag Book co. Ltd/London”.She is from the “Elegant Doll” “Smart Set” series. Circa 1927.Produced for only one year! She is 22 inches tall,moulded cloth,painted face, ceramic shoes,Jointed composition hands.Neck and wrists swivel and arms and legs Jointed. She is all original. Her Dress is silk but has seen better days. Also her stockings are a bit rough.One of her forearms was disconnected but I repaired it. Otherwise this Doll is amazing! She is mentioned in Deans Rag Book ,”The First 100 years “-Miller, and “Doll’s of the Art Deco Era 1910-1940” I have described any flaw.
