1930's CC Cole NC POTTERY Multi-color Glazed LARGE VASE - $200 - (Franklin, NC)
This is a wonderful large CC Cole Pottery cylinder vase dating from the 1930's in a characteristic CC Cole multi-glaze. A similarly glazed example is shown in James’ book on North Carolina Art Pottery, on page 175, a fan vase. This vase measures about 10 ¾ inches tall by about 4 3/8 inches in diameter. It has a tiny chigger bite on the inside rim and an under base “stilt” scar. Please see the pictures. This is a very attractive large vase in fine condition.
