Vintage mid-century Eaglesham Cheveron linen decor fabric geometric chevron - $10 - (Benton Harbor, MI)
Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Vintage custom hand-printed fabric “Cheveron” pattern by Eaglesham. I am not sure what the fabric is made from. It feels like heavy linen canvas and weighs approximately 10.5 ounces per square yard. Fabric is a natural color with printed chevron pattern in taupe, brown, and rust on one side. The reverse side is the natural color. The fabric itself is 59” wide, but the printed pattern is only 48” wide and does not go to the selvage. There is about 3” on one side and 8” on the opposite side that is not printed. The colors and pattern suggest this might be from the late 1960’s or early 1970’s. This came on the original bolt and there was a paper measuring tape rolled in with the fabric, which may offer another clue to its age. Great fabric for a wall hanging, pillows, table cloth, or other retro project. Fabric swatch is available upon request. Woven fabric has natural minor flaws, such as small nubs or loops, due to the fabric manufacturing process that caused small unprinted areas underneath. From nonsmoking home.
