Meiji medicine medicine to stop a person from sneezing, using the same "technology" as ammonia ampules to wake up someone who has fainted. coming from the Meiji era (1868 - 1912) and probably from the late Meiji when the military controlled much of the medicine used in the country. the label on the box could not be easily translated into English.
