Hearthland Mini Horses is bringing Equine Therapy into the classroom at Yoga Patch/Arbor Vitae with the well known and respected Essie Marie Titus as your 60 minute* meditation guide! Meet Della, she will be your therapy horse!!!! Essie Marie Titus will guide you through a seated meditation while a handler guides the mini horse. Essie is quite the leader, specializing in guided meditation and yoga for 1st Responders (and is 1 herself), Veterans, trauma survivors and those affected by PTSD and TBI, including caregivers, family and service providers. Heartland Mini Horses is new to Kansas City equine therapy program ! So new they don't even have a webiste yet but you sure can check them out on Facebook at Heartland Mini Horses Yoga Patch is hosting an Open House "It Takes a Village, Come See Ours" on the January 26th from 10-4. While this is part of the event, this portion is a debut and a fundraiser for the Heartland Mini Horses to be able to reach more people in need.
