Very Fine Violin - Concert Tone! - $2,500 - (Osseo, MN)

Here is a very fine German Markneukirchen Stradivarius model violin from around 1920 and sold by B?uegeleisen? & Ja?cobson Co. ?in New York. Buegeleisen and Jacobson was a musical instrument distributor in New York known for selling high quality and handmade instruments from Europe in the early 1900s. This violin has two labels, a 1734 Stradivarius label and a Salvadore de Durro New York B & J import label. Its in very good condition with one non-critical repair to the lower left top that was professionally done and cleated. No soundpost or bassbar repairs. The workmanship is top. Finest woods used with deeply flamed maple. Lovely varnish on a golden ground. The tone of this violin is outstanding and it sounds like something much more expensive. It's rich, warm, complex with good balance and focus. It projects wonderfully and would make a good violin for a soloist. It's very hard to find one that sounds like this and Ive seen 100s of violins! You wont be disappointed!
