Made in Germany about 10 years ago. 14.5” bell, .705 inch bore, four rotary valves. Never seriously damaged, the bell never creased. A few small dents and dings have been removed by our shop. The rotors are very tight in the casings with excellent compression. Modern lever linkages are fast and quiet. Original lacquer finish is 98% or better. With mouthpiece and good wood case. The Mirafone S84 is a smaller bore version of the popular S86A (186-4U with brass slides, not nickel), perfect for brass quintet, chamber music, even Dixieland tuba playing.
