Vintage Model 1892 Brass Field Trumpet (Bugle) in G - $30 - (Cody, WY)

M1892 Brass Field Trumpet or Bugle with a nice patina. I cannot see any markings, but apparently that was often the case. I do not know if it is authentic or a knock-off. It would make a nifty decoration. This bugle does not have a mouthpiece. Has dents and scrapes, please refer to photos. All modern bugles are based on the M1892. The M1892 was pitched in the key of G, making it easier to sound all the notes over the modern B flat trumpet. They generally play rather poorly because they were manufactured inexpensively. Approximate measurements: 15" long (no mouthpiece), 4 1/2" bell, weight 15.2 ounces. I am happy to answer any questions. Thank you for looking.
