antique •GE brass blade/cage PANCAKE MOTOR• old Edison-era•GENERAL ELECTRIC FAN• - $999 - (Greenup, IL)

Hello fellow ebayer. Up for immediate Buy-It-Now sale is a scarce old original 1890's era accessory: GENERAL ELECTRIC PANCAKE MOTOR FAN. It was extremely well-made with a heavy ornate painted cast-iron base and brass blades & cage by G.E. many years ago the U.S.A. And his has a nice attached brass nameplate that says the last Patent Date was May 27th 1890. The tag is marked, 104 volts, 60 cycles. It runs great! (Please see my photo of it running). I had the brass cage broken solder joint resoldered and so I've added a few new photos showing the repair. Thank you!MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 15-1/2" tall with about 12" O.D. Blades. CONDITION: Very good used with minor wear/marks/etc. Old solder separation/glob at rear cage bottom. It has nice original paint and brass patina. Tested and it runs great (please see my photo of it running) ...however the rear Switch "clicks" when turned but has no effect on speed/etc. PLEASE NOTE: I can't guarantee antique electrical devices because of their age, so I'm selling this with no returns.
