Grist Mill parts including mill stones and gears architectural salvage from 1850 - $25,000 - (Lyndhurst, VA)

Recently salvaged grist mill parts from mill in Caroline County Virginia.This mill was abandoned for 90 years and is thought to have been originally built in the 1850s. It had most of the necessary working parts except the water wheel.The millstones are 48 inches and diameter. The larger gear 84 inches and is cast iron and the smaller gear has replaceable wooden teeth. There are approximately 50 white oak wooden replacement teeth that were found on site.The "shroud" that went around the millstones is one heart pine board that has been steamed and bent to encompass the stones.The pivoting crane was still functional and had original forks and threaded rod for lifting mill stones.Parts included are two mill stones, gears, wooden axle for the smaller gear, hoppers, shroud, sifters, working crane, original dutch door and many wooden beams.Please contact me for any further details.
