The B-2102 MOS VINTAGE was introduced in 1988 in Japan. It is considered one of the best, perhaps even the best sounding Sansui amplifier manufactured. It's the same amplifier that is in the AU X1111 MOS VINTAGE with less wiring, shorter wire lengths. Rated at 150-150 watt 6 ohms, 100-100 watt 8 ohms, THD 0.008%, FR DC-300KHz, S/N 110dB. That's underrated power. Actual power seems more like 140 wpc 8 ohms. We usually have it set between 10-35% of full power. We have had it above that, as much as 55% at times, and yet that level is too loud all the time. We've been using very efficient Klipsch Heresy I speakers, @95db SPL. The past few years the Klipsch Belle's @104db SPL. Super clean, clear, dynamic, very natural sounds as is with this power amp. I once read that the B-2102 MOS VINTAGE, the AU-XIIII MOS VINTAGE were built to compete with McIntosh's heavy hitters. Weighs 35kg-92lbs. 100v. I will send along a high quality step down regulator for the cost of shipping it. The step down is 100v 230v, 1000w. It's a heavy sucker. Just plug it in and that's it. It's been said (by a local audio shop and others (audio engineer experts in Japan) that the B-2102 MOS VINTAGE actually sounds better than Sansui's flagship AU X1111 MOS VINTAGE having the same amplifier w/ less wiring, shorter wire lengths, less bells & whistles of the AU X1111 MOS VINTAGE, yet there is no need for a separate pre-amplifier, the B-2102 MOS has an excellent top of the line pre-amplifier in it. 1 Fixed, 2 Variable RCA inputs, XLR inputs for each.
