Olds Ambassador Bb Cornet with MP & Case - Plays But Needs Repairs This cornet plays and sounds good. It needs work. The rear bow is bent slightly to the side. The bell is 4 5/8”. The valves move smoothly and they look good. The 4 tuning slides move freely. The #1 slide hits the rear bow. (see pictures) It has a few dents as pictured. A few braces and joints have been resoldered. The finish has wear as pictured. The Bach 5C mouthpiece is good. The Olds case is worn but serviceable.
