Antique National Cash Register Co Model 213, Repaired - $850 - (Athens, GA)

This register is a National Cash Register company Model 213, a 200 Model "with improvements." It was most likely manufactured in the early 20th century. Much smaller than the 300 Models, it features a pop out drawer with "National" scrolled across it and the cross bar of the "T" acting as the pull as well as a resin counter bar. The top is glassed in and does not have the original marquees or toppers. The brass case features beautifully cast fleur de lys designs as well as the expected brass tag directly under the number read-out. There is some odd business with the tag but the item possesses the identifying tags under the drawer with most of the relevant information. There are no keys for this machine but the top and drawer both open/close easily. There were some recent repairs to the number bars but the machine is now functional. It measures 17" high, 16" wide, 10" deep, and weighs approximately 60 lbs. Overall, this item is in good condition but does show signs of wear from both age and use.
