Gorgeous vintage sterling silver gold filigree bracelet. Made in Portugal. Gold plated sterling silver. This is an intricate and beautifully crafted vintage filigree bracelet from Portugal. Filigree metal working is considered to be one of the most difficult metal working processes. This art consists of curling, twisting and plaiting fine pliable threads of metal such as sterling silver, and uniting them at their points of contact with each other. The superb craftsmanship evident on this bracelet is an excellent example.  In great vintage condition.  7.5" unfastened, 14 grams.
