VERY NICE "USABLE" MADE OF WOOD UNION CHURN NO. ONE WITH NICE GRAPHICS - $350 - (Reedsville, WI)
WITHOUT THE LEGS THE CHURN IS 19" TALL, 16" LONG AND 14" WIDE. For your consideration I am listing an old antique "UNION CHURN NO. 1 IN usable condition. The inside has it's original 100 year+ finish. Would only need to be washed out to make a batch of butter. The outside has been given a coat of high quality premium satin polyurethane to protect the graphics. On one side it says: UNION CHURN NO. 1. On one of the ends it says: IMPROVED ORIGINAL UNION CHURN PAT'D DEC. 20 1864. FIRST PREMIUM TAKEN AT THE STATE FAIRS OF OHIO, IND, MICH., ILL., WIS., & N. YORK. FELIX MARSTEN & BLAIR GENERAL AGENTS 55, 52 & 59 SOUTH WATER STREET, CHICAGO. There are no broken teeth on the gears and the churn turns with the slightest effort. There are five arms on the drive gear that the handle is attached to. One arm has a hairline crack. It could be brazed but I see no reason to do so. The churn works just fine the way it is. The churn has likely had this all along. 30 day return policy. Buyer has to cover the cost to send it back. Full refund provided item is in same condition it was in when I shipped it out. PAYMENT THROUGH PAY PAL ONLY I COMBINE SHIPPING WHENEVER POSSIBLE. Thank you for looking at my auctions.
