SONY CRF 1 shortwave radio - $2,000 - (Mississauga, ON)
again, no sepcs. you must know about this radio to come to this listing. if you somehow arrive on this page with no idea about this unit, pls note this is NOT a kitchen appliance from the 80s instead, I will use this space to share some interesting findings about this radio. in case you haven't noticed, crf1 has the most gigantic antenna in any portables. it is so long that if you are shorter then 5 foot,you cannot fully extend it when it is on a table. not universal user friendly I guess. another interesting thing is the battery consumption. if this thing didnot come with AC cord, I cannot afford its appetite for batteries. 8 brand new C cells can only last for a week with about 1 hour listing time at normal volume. big performance comes with big price. yet another interesting thing about crf1 is that it has a special version with blue color top. yes, i bet you didnot see one before, neither do I. it is said the blue colored version has slightly better performance due to different filter used. if you ever come across a blue crf1, jump on it. crf1 storytellingTO BE CONTINUED this unit has been professionally maintenanced and adjusted, caliberation file is included and is also shown in some of the attached pictures. it is in tip top condition now. due to aging, the original rubber band inside lost its elasticity. but it has been fixed too. all green lights work fine if u prefer more heavy weight radios, check out my other listings, I have radios that can also be used as barbell in fitness club shipping to anywhere in US and Canada is $0.73, as usual. but should you want to pay actual shipping, I will include that pelican storm case for free. happy bidding and happy new year (???) 73
