Daven Model 910-B Volume Level Meter, Single, very nice 1940's - $125 - (Baton Rouge, LA)

Item For Sale: One (ea) Daven Model 910-B Adjustable Volume Level Meter. Designed to be your eyes on 600 ohm networks for setting the volume level or for feeding a modulator. The terminology "volume level" is early in broadcasting use and referred to later as "VU Meter" once more standardization took place. We were unable to find a manual for this. Examined and no physical problems were found. Condition: A used but well cared for unit. Dates we think from the 1940's. The very bottom small "zero meter" control could stand for a better mounting nut but otherwise holds as it is. Original keeper nut was 1/4"-32. Previous owner has "doctored" up the panel finish giving it a "bronze" effect. This is untested and sold as is. Shipping: Will be shipped as safely as possible. The unit is packed and ready to go.
