DRAKE T-4XC Transmitter SN 21652 w/ AC-4 Power Supply SN 51602 and DX Engineering RF Speech Processor. I am the first owner of this transmitter and have enjoyed its great sound and reliability over the years. Front panel is good, cabinet cosmetics are fair, with some scratches. A repaint might be in order. Corrosion/rust has occurred on the chassis. I have removed as much of the corrosion as possible and replaced most of the hardware to insure good grounding and shielding. VFO turns easy ( nylon gearbox) and full output is realized on all bands. All controls operate smoothly and perform their intended function.There are no additional crystals installed. No microphone is included, but a good copy of the manual will be supplied. Tubes have been checked and replaced as needed, electrolytic capacitors changed, and PA cathode resistors measured. On the rear panel there are two added RCA jacks in factory holes ( External PTT and External Audio In) and a cooling fan which derives its power from the 12V filament circuit in the transmitter. The RF Processor is installed and aligned into the transmitter with a bracket for the USB/LSB/OFF switch on the side of the cabinet. The AC-4 has received the aftermarket upgrade board. This is vintage equipment that has been refurbished. Please realize that it may give you years of trouble free service or it could fail next month or next week. I don't recommend buying old equipment unless you or someone you know can service it. Accordingly, there will be NO RETURNS. That said, buy with confidence from a seller with 100% positive feedback over nearly 20 years. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. Item will be shipped in two double boxed cartons, UPS insured.
