Brown Bag Cookie ArtWooly Lamb Sheep1983 Up for sale is a sweet mold from Brown Bag Cookie Art. This stoneware mold, copyright 1983, measures almost 6” x 5-1/4” and shows a curly wooly lamb or sheep. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damage that I can see. The back of the mold has Brown Bag Cookie Art copyright 1983 incised in the wet clay. This is one of the early molds from Lucy Natkiel and is a great collectible.Though most often used to make cookies, these molds have lots of other uses as well, from casting delicate paper images for cards and scrapbooks, to fashioning beeswax ornaments, or creating fragrant cinnamon pomanders. Because Lucy has “retired,” all Brown Bag molds are highly collectable. I’ve used these beautiful molds for cookies, paper casting, beeswax, cinnamon and bread dough ornaments.
