BING & GRONDAHL 1899 Christmas Plate B&G Dahl Jensen CROWS ENJOYING CHRISTMAS - $500 - (Inverness, FL)
Offering a Bing and Grondahl of Denmark the fifth Christmas Plate issued in 1899, titled "Crows Enjoying Christmas," This plate was designed and sculpted by DAHL-JENSEN, a collectable artist in his own right. This was purchased from and estate here in FL and has been packed away for over 40 years. This plate measures approx.7" in diameter. Pierced foot for hanging wire. Marked on the back with B&G’s three tower trademark, “ DANISH CHINA WORKS”. Most of these early plates have production imperfections, but I can find none on this plate. It is signed and numbered on the back. This plate has no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. I will be listing 4 other B & G plates, 1896-1899 and will be happy to combine the shipping, which is free. The plate will be carefully packed and shipped insured priority mail with signature required. I am listing this at what I believe to be a fair price and will consider reasonable offers.
