RARE American Gray Graniteware Mottled Small Bulbous Teapot Enamelware - $175 - (Rincon, GA)

This antique graniteware teapot is a unique size and shape. It is in excellent condition! It shoes VERY little wear! There are a couple of heavy white spots on inside rim and lighter ones on spout. At first I thought this was paint, but on closer inspection, they seems to be just part of the making of the mottling. There is one little spot of brown (though I don’t think it’s rust) that I showed in a photo. Also, I do think the pin in the hinge is new and there is a bit of rust on the hinge. Also, there is a spot of bright green on the inside that feels to be the same texture as the gray so it probably occurred in the manufacturing. The approximate size is 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”. The bottom base is 2 1/2” in diameter. Non-smoking home.
