Sea Purls - N.A. - (Georgetown, DE)

We are a group of knitters (some crocheters) who gather the first Wed. of each month at 10 am at the Georgetown CHEER Center to expand our knitting horizons. We are a member guild of TKGA and have knitters of all abilities, from beginners to experts. Each month we have an educational program, a Show and Share time when members display their latest creations (if they wish) and we support each other with help and advice as needed. We have about 60 members from all around southern/central DE and even some from eastern MD. New folks join us each month. It’s a wonderful group of ladies (no men yet, but you are certainly welcome!) who share a love of knitting and enjoy being together creating. We plan road trips to area knit shops for classes, coordinate a bus trip to the MD Sheep & Wool Festival and have a wonderful holiday luncheon for our Dec. meeting. We encourage anyone who is interested in knitting to join us for a meeting and see if what we do appeals to you.
