Bragdon Action Book Pop-Up: Goldie the Goose that Laid the Golden Egg - $17 - (Morehead City, NC)

This pop-up book is vintage, published in the 1950's by Artcraft Paper products in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is titled Goldie the Goose that Laid the Golden Egg. Its author is Edith Berbach and the illustrator is M. Smith. It was promoted as an "action book - with five 3 Dimensional spring-ups" The book has 5 boardbook type pages with 2 spring-up's (pop-up's on each page). All pages are pictured above so that you can see that all of the pop-up's are still intact and working. Pages and covers are still attached firmly to the binding, but the paper cover glued to the binding is chipped and torn at places. A name is written on the back cover of each book. Overall, this vintage collectible book is in good condition. No tears, rips, or writing except as noted. All pop-up's are in place and are fully functional.
