For your consideration is stoneware mixing or serving bowl, with Gresham, Nebraska advertising. A bowl with the same pattern, the same stripes and the same color combination, is pictured on page 119 of the RED WING Stoneware ENCYCLOPEDIA by Dan DePasquale & Larry Peterson. This bowl has an underglaze advertisement in it that reads: HARDWARE AS LASTING AS STONEWARE E.K. HUSBANDS HARDWARE PHONE 89 GRESHAM, NEBR. From the center of the rim to the center of the rim, on the opposite side, is 7". From the table to the rim is 3 7/8". This stoneware mixing or serving bowl is an old item that was used. It has 0 cracks, however on the rim is a chip. Also, on the bottom of the shoulder, are minor to insignificant chips. On the exterior's bottom, the interior and the stripes on the shoulder, the factory did a sloppy job of glazing. Please, carefully examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description.
