Antique Rare Sarreguemines Utzschneider & Co. Chinoiserie Asian Porcelain Bowl - $24 - (Bangor, ME)

Old and Rare Made in Germany Sarreguemines Utzschneider & Co white and blue oriental asian style porcelain serving bowl with a gilded gold geometrical rim pattern and a asian lanscape motif in the center. Based on the blue “ Made In Germany “ mark, we can conclude that the bowl was made between the years of 1894-1918. The bowl also features other marks as well as an impressed M1. The bowl is in good condition with what looks like a hairline crack on the underside, but does not penetrate the surface of the bowl and seems to be more along the lines of crazing. Some of the gold gilding has rubbed off as well. There are no chips or any other damage. Dimensions: diameter of just under 8 1/2” and stands 1 3/4” tall.
