Coalport England Vase Pair Antique Porcelain Mountain Lake Scenes 15.5" - $1,500 - (Denison, TX)
Pair of Antique Coalport England Vases. The Vases measure 15 1/2" tall. Hand Painted Scenes on a Cobalt Blue Ground with Gold Trim, Gold Handles, and Gold Decorations. They are both Marked, Numbered, and one is signed. The only blemish at all is a very small area of light discoloration on the neck of one vase. Close up photo provided. All of the Gold Gilding is near perfect on both vases. They have not been handled much at all. This Vase Pair has been well kept and in my home for over 40 years. I acquired them at an Antique Shop in the 1970's. Any and All white spots or streaks on these vases or on the Hand Painted Scenes in the photos are light reflections. There are no blemishes on the Cobalt Blue, the Gold, or on the Hand Painted Images. No attempt has been made at any restoration of the small area of discoloration on the neck of the one vase.
