This is a rare souvenir booklet that depicts the city's main buildings of the era. It pulls out. These booklets predate most postcards. So this was the first time visitors could see the city in photos. TITLE: "A La Photo Views: Hudson River". COMPANY: Rand McNally Co. PUBLICATION DATE: Circa 1887. BOOK TYPE: Booklet. PAGES: 14. SIZE: 5 by 3.25 inches. CONDITION: Poor. The bottom of the booklet had water damage at some point. The black cover is embossed with gold lettering.
