Bachmann steam engine #7 G scale brand new. This locomotive was the first in the G scale line for Bachmann introducing them into the world of G scale trains in 1988. This G scale locomotive only came in the Bachmann Big Hauler train set. It runs on any G scale track but is powered by (6) D-cell batteries which are not included. It can operate on full speed by turning on the switch in the boiler section of the engine. Or can be controlled by the remote control unit that comes with it. The remote control allows you to stop the engine and put it into motion on graduation speeds from slow to full speed both forward and reverse. This remote control requires (1) 9-volt battery. The nice possibility is you can run this battery powered engine simultaneously on a powered track with another engine. This is a unique sale listed as new because when this auction is won by the buyer I will remove it from its original starter box set, package it and ship to you. I have never tested it because it was never removed from its starter box set. It will only be removed upon shipping time after paid for. Please note: This has never been removed from its original starter set box and listed as New. Picture #6 shows the one for sale in its box. Pictures 1-5 are an exact engine and tender I previously sold that was like new. Upon purchase it will be removed from the starter set box, packed, and shipped to auction winner.
