Rare Antique Colonial Couple At Water Fountain with Water Scene Motion Lamp made by Scene In Action Corp. copyright 1931. The lamp is bronze colored metal which forms an ornate art Nouveau style frame with the colonial couple being part of that. The scene is behind the first glass and part of the scene is painted on the second glass insert. The spinner works well once the bulb becomes hot and it will start to spin making the water appear to be moving. The spinner is good and intact. There is a switch on the back side of the lamp that turns the lamp on and off. It works well. This is a heavy large lamp that is all original and has not been repaired or altered in any way. The cord has the outer cloth cover frayed off. The two cords inside are good with no exposed wires. You might wish to replace this but it does work. The bake lite plug is good. The lamp measures 12" across the bottom and 9 1/2" tall. This is a very nice one marked Scene In Action Corp. Copyright 1931 on the back side.
