Gibson Earl Scruggs banjo - $3,800 - (Newark, DE)

This is a Gibson Earl Scruggs, 49 Classic, with a date imprinted: 8-18-98. It has Keith D-tuners, and was recently completely refurbished by Mike Munford; refurbishment included several new frets. It has a lovely sound, with particular sparkle in the upper notes. It's in splendid condition. A fine hard-shelled case is included.
