Pinewood Derby Car, Mega Fast and Ready to Race - $125 - (Opelousas, LA)
Part of my Giant Killer series, this Pinewood Derby car uses very special treatments of stock parts along with extremely detailed tuning practices to push the limits of speed using stock BSA parts. All parts should be legal in all BSA races as there have not been any extreme modifications done to the wheels or axles. This car is a cut above other cars, has passed extremely high benchmark testing and is set up as a mega fast Krytox lubed 3 wheel rider bound to turn heads on race day. Color: Organic Green Candy with high gloss clear coat Weight: 4.990 ounces All critical parts are custom machined in my own shop to ensure the absolute highest quality and accuracy possible. As all work is done in house it also allows me to offer higher quality at lower prices compared to similarly priced cars on eBay. This car has one raised wheel (check your rules) and is a rail rider. This is a faster configuration, but only if it is done correctly. Wheels are very high precision lathed turned and balanced removing only a very small cut and keeping the full wheel width. These wheels will pass the 1.170 diameter requirements but please contact me if you require a different specification. The wheel bores are made true and have been very highly polished to further reduce friction. Lathe turned axles are mirror polished for best speed. Axles are mounted in the original axle slots which are high precision pre-drilled for precise alignment. Lubricated with high tech Krytox 100 lube which last longer during a race. The entire car is built with 100% official BSA parts straight from the official BSA Pinewood Derby kit with no after market parts used.
