Gibson LG-1 1960 Original Condition with Original Case - $1,550 - (Tulsa, OK)

Very Nice Gibson LG-1, Serial Number R 68965 65, built in 1960 comes with orginal cardboard case stamped like alligator. Mahogany neck with unbound rosewood fingerboard. Mother of pearl dot position markers.Mahogany body with ladder-braced spruce top. Rosewood bridge with mother of pearl dots covering the locating (and support) bolts. Original gloss sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish with lots of natural lacquer checking.Original tuners with creme plastic buttons.This guitar is in very good condition for it's age, there are no cracks, it does have the normal small dings from being played, and the finish has some checkering and light scratches from being played. Plays well and cleanly with a normal action height, this guitar has a crisp and clear sound, plays beautifully. This guitar is part of my collection, I am a retired pawnbroker trying to downsize.
