Mid Century Vintage Chinese Lantern/ Light fitting, Painted Silk, Wood Dragons - $150 - (Alamogordo, NM)

I found this super cool mid century light/lantern at a local estate sale. It’s a bit dusty and two of the tassels are missing the fringe on the bottom: The center tassel and one side. There appears to have a bead that is cracked as well. Those flaws don’t really take away from the look of it. They only add to the vintage flavor..in my opinion ;) It measures 15 1/2” tall and about 14” at the widest points. The silk/material has some slight staining to it and can be seen in photos. The wood carved dragon frame folds and the lantern can be stored flat. The wiring is the old style and will need to be rewired. Overall I’d say it’s in brilliant shape and could look amazing in the right space. If you have any questions please feel free to message. Thank you!!
