Fiji, Levuka Treasury Note, $25, 1872-73, P-17r Remainder, PCGS XF40 Holes $25 Treasury Note, Levuka, Fiji, a remainder note from the 1872-73 Treasury Note issue, pen cancelled by hand. Key type for this series. High grade for a very scarce 145 year old note, professionally graded by PCGS as XF40 with a notation of holes - the note has a worm hole on the left side and a very small hole on the right side. Printed by S. T. Leigh & Co., Sydney. Other than the two notes we are auctioning, I have only seen one other Treasury Note from this series in any state or condition.
