4 ART PRINTS BY CLYDE FORSYTHE DESERT MAGAZINE GOLD MINING - $30 - (Palm Desert, CA)

This is a series of 4 1938 paintings by California artist Clyde Forsythe that were featured on the cover and back cover of 4 Desert Magazines in 1960. The paintings portray the life of a gold mine. First the GOLD RUSH, next the MINING CAMP, then a MINING TOWN, and lastly the GHOST TOWN. These four magazines are in mint condition and there are many very interesting stories inside. Desert Magazine was founded in Palm Desert CA. in 1937 and lasted until 1986. The magazine appealed to rock hounds, amateur prospectors, hikers and explorers of desert lore.
