Moehring Burner & Chimney Click images to enlarge Description You are looking at an antique tin kerosene lamp with a H.G. Moehring Brass Burner and a chimney. This lamp has a tin base and is marked McAllister Optician. It is 3-1/4" square and 1-1/2" high. It has a No. 2 H.G. Moehring Brass Burner. The thumb wheel is marked with 3 patent dates 1871-75-77. The thumb wheel works smoothly. The burner also has the center drip cup. The chimney is 11" tall and measures 2" at the bottom and 1-1/4" at the top. There are a couple of tiny nicks on the rim of the chimney at the top. Don't know if this is an original globe. It was with the lamp base when we obtained it.
