Beautiful vintage 4/4 full-size violin and bow fabricated by Paul Mangenot, Mirecourt (France). Paul Mangenot was a prolific maker of violins, violas, cellos and double basses. He produced instruments and bows of the best quality in the Mirecourt tradition.The violin is signed inside Paul Mangenot and the bow is brand ironed with the name Paul Mangenot.The label inside the violin reads, “Grand Prix Paris 1931 Exposition Coloniale”.In November 2015, we had it fully restored by Jean-Pierre Voinson, actual luthier in the town of Mirecourt France --- the very town from whence the violin originated. Since the restoration, both violin and bow have never been used.We also have an official paper attesting the value and authenticity of the violin and bow ( see last picture )We still have the original casePlease review carefully all the attached pictures.The cost for insuring the violin ($70) is attached to the handling costs.
