Antique Violin W/ Vuillaume Label Fine Flamed Back From Estate - $600 - (East Peoria, IL)

Here is a nice antique violin that has a Vuillaume a Paris label in it. Back and sides are nicely flamed with select wood. The back measures approx 14” in length and bouts are 8 1/4” and 6 5/8”. Finish of violin has wear from age. I see an old repaired crack on the bass side, not directly over the bass bar and another old repaired crack off the treble side f hole at the bottom. These cracks look to be solid and old. Instrument is fresh out of an estate collection and it has new tailpiece bridge and pegs. The new strings are red label super sensitive. Instrument comes in an old worn hard case. Looks like a very nice instrument fresh out of an estate.
