Up for sale is a used CT4850 1/2" Cordless Impact Wrench w/ Protective Cover. The wrench is a good condition cosmetically, and 100% mechanically operative. This unit was used for basic home-garage automotive work, and was not abused or pushed beyond its limits. The only issue with the package is the original NiCad batteries, which have no capacity left. Snap-On wants $160.00+ per battery, however these existing batteries can be upgraded from the original 2.4 Wh NiCad to 3.0 Wh NiMH or better, utilizing the same battery housing for around $60.00 - 65.00 / battery. For ~ $130.00, BOTH batteries can be brought to better than OEM standards for $30.00+ less than Snap-On wants for one replacement NiCad battery. I cannot name specific rebuilders, however if you search for "Snap-On CTB4185 rebuild" on eBay, you will find a number of rebuilders who offer free shipping both ways of the old batteries for rebuilding. The dual charger is 100% operative, and in great condition. There is no case for this system. The entire package contains: (1) CT4850 1/2" Cordless Impact Wrench w/ Protective Cover (1) CTC450 Dual Charger (Slide-In & Stem Batteries 9.6v & 18v) (2) CTB4185 NiCad Batteries - 18v - 2.4 Wh.
