Vintage Arcade Cast Iron Red & Green Tractor With Arcade Yellow & Red Planter - $595 - (East Dubuque, IL)
Very sharp original Cast Iron Toy set made by Arcade Manufacturing out of Freeport Illinois. These toys would date right in the 1930's time period I believe...I'd guess 90-95 % of the original paint is still there, wheels slightly loose which is pretty common but I want no surprises ever. No cracks or breaks, just two nice surviving toys. Tractor is just under 4 3/4" long, 2 1/2" wide and the drivers head sits 2 7/8" tall.... Planter is 3 1/2" wide by just under 4" long, when hooked up together they measure about 8 5/8" long. Every once in awhile you run into toys that become a perfectly matched set, to me, this is that set. I tryed snapping photo's in a few different light settings, always hard to capture the exact color of the toys but I strive to give you the very best examples. I would say these are an excellent representation though. Not interested in accepting offers, the nice sharp originals in any size are far too hard to find anymore. Thanks for taking a look....
