This is a slightly used Lee Springer clarinet barrel model 5-7-67. I ALSO HAVE IT 5-7-65 AND 5-7-67. Lee was a pioneer in developing the reverse taper in the bore of the barrel to improve intonation, projection, articulation, and tone for the clarinet. Lee worked with many of the top symphony clarinetists in the Chicago area during the 40's to perfect this style barrel. Lee passed away in the 80's but his barrels are in high demand. This barrel is made of hard rubber (like mouthpieces) and will not crack or change bore size with moisture. The bore taper was hand reamed. No Returns. No Refunds.
